One of the odd little things that T and used to do when we lived in Indiana was say, "look - dead people" every time we drove through the little patch of highway 46 that passes through a semi-large rural cemetery. This habit has continued here in Kansas; though I'm not sure why the kids haven't picked it up.
Today I spent the better part of my day reading a 30 page flow-chart on what happens to a credit card account when the card holder dies. The chart has incredibly small font and (consequently) rather small little squares, rectangles, diamonds, and cylinders that cover each page. Each little shape is connected to at least one other making a sort of meandering one-way maze through the document.
I couldn't help but start to see the little shapes as headstones and the little lines as the paths between their plots in some vast cemetery. Just now I laid them all out across my desk (and on the floor); it did look like I was looking down on a sad memorial garden that had grown up asymmetrically over time.
Look - Dead People.

The dead people thing happened because dash thought there were too many cemeteries in Indiana, so I gladly point out when we are not in Indiana other cemeteries. I believe his fascination is linked to the fact that on career tests he's told he should work in the cemetery business!

Out of curiosity, how do you fill thirty pages with a flowchart on what happens to an account after someone dies?
This is where a digital camera would come in real handy.
It is interesting to see what other families have/do for inside jokes. That is a good one.

I actually liked Sixth Sense. I am picky on what scary movies I watch. That one was worth it. I remember not really wanting to watch it and then deciding, OK. So I probably had low expectations going into the movie.
I was surpised how many Cemeteries we passed in Indiana ... later I realized that there are very few "back roads" to put a cememtary .. so they would have to be along the main road.
Plus, being in the country means you can see most of the surrounding countryside at any given moment. ... nothing get's in the way.
I love how you have no clue what M. Nights movies are about based on previews. I thought sixth sense was suppose to be a scarry movie and it wasn't at all- the previews made it look that way.
I may have to go back and pick up 6th sense. I didn't go for it originally. Now I've seen so many bits and pieces and know the story line so well, I don't feel like I need to see it.
