Today the whole family headed out to do our grocery shopping. This is significant because it was the first time T had gone to the store since Thankgiving. After analyzing the list, we found that everything (except toilet paper) could be picked up at the local ALDI store; so off we went. We were just about to check out when I saw an asile end-cap display with PC game 3-packs for $9.99 each.
This immediately sounded like a good deal - especially since T has been wanting to get an online scrabble game for her laptop for a while now. The 3-pack also came with a PC version of Monopoly and a multi-cd of board games like backgammon and parcheesi. T was happy with the purchase .... and I picked up Civillization II, Joan of Arc, and Troy.
T's scabble seems pretty cool but Civ II is horrible. If anyone out there in the Blogverse is just dying to play this, they can have mine for a rubber-band and a paper-clip (+ shipping and handling). Yes, even unusable office supplys have more appeal this pile of "code". No opinion yet on Joan or Troy, but I guess I'll see how they turn out as well.
If I have just somehow managed to miss the magic of the game and you can explain it too me, please let me know.

I have Civ I and so if you can imagine something worse than Civ II--well, I have it.
I've deleted the porno comment ...sorry if anyone happened upon it before I caught it. My apologies if it was offensive - but I'm still not convinced enough to do word verification.
Then again it seemed like a personal invitation, so maybe that wouldn't have helped.
Strangely enough ... dust didn't seem to have noticed it even though it was posted before his.
I assume Dash or T posted as little artist. :) I would hope N wouldn't have been the one to catch the porno comment.
Civ I or II doesn't sound interesting to me. Monopoly and Scrabble sound fun though.
LOL...too funny Golden! BTW, since I have had the word verification on, I have not had any spam comments to my blog. Maybe it really does help?
whoopseeee!!!!
Yes it was me typing the "Little Artist" comment above. It's way too easy to forget when I'm signed in as her.
